I have an Author Spotlight interview up now over at Fantasy Magazine.
Yep, the title says it all. Head on over to Ideomancer to check it out.
It’s looking like the plan is to release my novel (we still haven’t settled on a title) at Readercon 2008, and I shall definitely be there. Fun!
Sold “Jane,” an old short story, to Fantasy Magazine. Not sure when to expect it to appear.
Received an email out of the blue from Sean Wallace of Prime Books, saying he’d like to do a collection of my short stories, most likely in 2009 or 2010.
My short story, “The Promise,” is now live over at Fantasy Magazine.
It’s been a good week.
Hopefully sometime next year, Prime Books will be publishing my first novel. More news as the news presents itself.
Wheeee!
My novella “The Winter Triptych” is to appear in an anthology of novellas edited by Sean Wallace (Prime Books), title and pub date tba.
My short story, “Seer of Cities,” is set to appear in Ideomancer in the hopefully nearish future. They’re an online journal, and each issue is downloadable for free from their site. They archive stories for three years, so once they publish it, it should be around for a while.
My short story, “The Promise,” is set to appear in Fantasy Magazine, likely in the November issue.
“Pieces of Scheherazade” has been selected for inclusion in Best American Fantasy, a prestigious new annual anthology from Prime Books, edited by Matthew Cheney and guest edited by Ann & Jeff VanderMeer. It’s due out in June 2007, but you can check it out here from Amazon. Just going by the list of honorable mentions, I’m honestly pretty shocked (to say nothing of flattered) at the sort of company my story is keeping, but at the same time I’m led to believe this will be a very impressive collection.
